Who we're looking for:
This is a hands-on, operationally focused ICT Vendor Manager role ideally suited to a mid-level ICT vendor management, commercial, or technology procurement professional who enjoys working close to the detail and taking ownership of outcomes within a global environment.
Reporting to the Global ICT Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for managing a defined portfolio of technology vendors across Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada. You will lead the day-to-day management of vendor relationships, contract renewals, governance activities, commercial administration, issue resolution, and performance management, ensuring vendors consistently deliver against Multiplex's operational and commercial requirements.
Working closely with Technology, Procurement, and business stakeholders, this role operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. We're seeking someone who can work independently, proactively manage competing priorities, identify opportunities for improvement, and confidently drive outcomes across their vendor portfolio. In doing so, you'll play a critical role in enabling the Global ICT Vendor Manager to focus on strategic vendor direction, commercial planning, and longer-term initiatives.
The role offers valuable exposure to global stakeholders, commercial decision-making, and a broad range of technology suppliers.
This role is open to candidates based in Sydney, Perth, or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage ICT vendor renewals, contract lifecycle activities and commercial planning.
- Oversee vendor relationships, performance reviews, SLAs/KPIs and issue resolution.
- Support sourcing activities, RFx processes, evaluations and onboarding.
- Provide commercial and contractual advisory support across vendor agreements.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvement and vendor rationalisation.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and adapt communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
