As we embark on a new chapter of growth, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Recruitment Specialist to join our People & Culture team and help shape the future workforce at WIC. This is an exciting part-time (0.8 FTE) opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys building strong relationships, delivering great candidate experiences, and managing recruitment processes that are efficient, inclusive and merit-based.
About the role:
As Recruitment Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering end-to-end recruitment across WIC. Working closely with the Talent Partner, Recruitment Coordinator and hiring managers, you'll support the delivery of high-quality recruitment outcomes from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
You'll bring contemporary recruitment expertise, strong organisational skills and a customer-focused mindset to ensure candidates and hiring managers receive a professional, responsive and engaging experience throughout the recruitment journey.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while strengthening recruitment capability and supporting workforce outcomes across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:

Deliver end-to-end recruitment processes across a diverse range of roles.

Guide hiring managers on recruitment processes, timelines and best practice approaches.

Coordinate advertising, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview scheduling, pre-employment checks and offer preparation.

Support fair, inclusive and merit-based selection processes.

Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and records.

Manage recruitment activity within our Applicant Tracking System and HR systems.

Contribute to recruitment reporting, workforce insights and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support a positive and engaging candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process.

You are an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys connecting great people with meaningful opportunities. You are highly organised, solutions focused and thrive in a collaborative environment where quality, compliance and customer service matter.
You'll bring:

Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end recruitment outcomes.

Strong knowledge of contemporary talent acquisition practices, sourcing strategies and candidate engagement techniques.

A sound understanding of merit-based, inclusive and fair recruitment principles.

Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent recruitment campaigns, while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with high levels of emotional i ntelligence, integrity and self-awareness.

Experience working with recruitment systems, ATS platforms and HR information systems.

A commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.

The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Experience in the Victorian Public Sector or another regulatory environment will be highly regarded.
