Perth ECO Clean is a growing Perth-based cleaning business, and we’re looking for a capable, reliable all-rounder who can work across both operations/admin and hands-on cleaning.
This isn't purely an office job and it isn't purely a cleaning job. Initially, we expect the role to be roughly a 50/50 mix, although this will vary from week to week.
You’ll work closely with the business owner and gradually take responsibility for helping keep the day-to-day business running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
- Responding to customer emails and new enquiries
- Scheduling and coordinating cleaning jobs
- Communicating with customers and staff
- Assisting with quotes, invoices and general administration
- Basic MYOB/accounting administration and helping manage bills
- Helping recruit and onboard new cleaning staff
- Following up enquiries and helping generate new work
- Keeping schedules, customer information and business systems organised
- Identifying ways we can improve our systems and efficiency
- Hands-on residential and commercial cleaning as required
- Gradually taking greater responsibility for day-to-day operations
Who we're looking for
You don't necessarily need cleaning industry experience — we can teach you that.
What matters more is that you have some previous office/admin experience, are organised, communicate well and are comfortable taking initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Experience with MYOB, Outlook/Microsoft 365, scheduling, customer service, recruitment, sales or the cleaning industry would all be highly regarded.
You'll also need to be comfortable working both behind a computer and out in the field with the cleaning team.
Hours and progression
This will initially be a permanent part-time position of approximately 15–20 hours per week, combining hands-on cleaning with administration and operational support.
There will be opportunities for additional hours as the business grows, with the intention for the right person to progress towards a full-time role within approximately 12 months.
Pay
$31.00–$37.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills and level of responsibility, and subject to successful completion of a 3 month probation period
There is genuine opportunity for pay progression as the role develops, with higher rates reflecting increased capability, independence and responsibility within the business.
