Job Description
The Personnel Security team are responsible for ensuring individuals are eligible and suitable to access agency and Australian Government resources (people, information and assets).
The Personnel Security team assess personnel security risks through the use of internal policy and process, and the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework.
The team is responsible for:
- Eligibility and suitability assessments for individuals.
- Administration of security clearances.
- Personnel security strategies, policies, processes and procedures.
The Senior Personnel Security Officer will:
- Lead the team responsible conducting eligibility and suitability assessments.
- Undertake and advise on complex personnel security assessments.
- Contribute to executive briefing, reporting, and promote the agency’s personnel security program.
- Support and promote innovation—operationally and strategically.
