We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Piggery Attendant to join our team at Moorlands Piggery.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily farm operations, maintaining high animal welfare standards, and assisting with the supervision and development of team members. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with livestock and thrives in a team-focused environment.
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:26pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am – 2:26pm
Week 2
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:26pm
38 hours per week plus overtime opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity
- Monitor animal health and production performance
- Support and mentor team members in daily farm activities
- Assist with animal treatments and husbandry programs
- Complete production and animal health records accurately
- Maintain farm facilities, equipment, and work areas
- Support the Site Manager in achieving production targets
- Promote a safe and positive workplace culture
- Previous piggery, livestock, or agricultural experience
- Demonstrated leadership or senior stockperson experience preferred
- Strong commitment to animal welfare and biosecurity
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on farm duties
- Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused
