Our services span from Ingham in the north, Proserpine in the south, Mount Isa in the west and Palm Island in the east. Today, MMCNQ operates 5 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care services.
Kirwan Early Learning Centre is a newly refurbished service offering a bright, spacious environment and a fantastic outdoor area where children are encouraged to safely explore, create, and grow. About the positions
Kirwan ELC is seeking an Educator and a Lead Educator to join our growing team as enrolments continue to increase. These are permanent positions offering up to 37.5 hours per week, with commencement available as soon as practical.
Whether you are starting your career in early childhood education or looking to take the next step into a leadership role, you will play a key part in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel supported to learn, grow, and thrive.
As an Educator, you will work collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality education and care. As a Lead Educator, you will lead the planning and implementation of a stimulating educational program, mentor fellow educators, and foster strong relationships with children and families.
Our service is led by an experienced and qualified Service Leader and Assistant Director who are committed to supporting, developing, and inspiring our team. What you’ll need to succeed:
- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent
- Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
