About us
Aspire Academics is an in-person tutoring centre in Truganina supporting students from Years 3 to 12. We help students build genuine understanding, strong study habits and the confidence to do their best. We are growing and want to share our students' stories, and we need a creative person to help us do it.
The role
Be the face of Aspire's TikTok and Instagram. You will present short-form videos (VCE study tips, exam hacks, student wins and life at the centre) and help grow our channels from scratch. You are on camera most of the time, and we can pair you with editing support if cutting is not your strength.
What you'll do:
- Present and film short-form video (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Record parent and student testimonial videos
- Cover our events and classes (our Careers Night on 27 June would be your first project)
- Take photos for our website, Google profile and socials
- Help with captions and posting
What we are looking for:
- Confident, high-energy and natural on camera: you genuinely enjoy presenting
- A recent VCE graduate with strong results, or a uni student in media, communications or marketing with on-camera experience
- Examples of yourself on camera (personal TikTok or Instagram, uni projects, anything)
- Outgoing and professional with students, parents and teachers
- Reliability and the ability to work to a simple content calendar
- Full working rights in Australia
- A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing
What we offer:
- Flexible hours that fit around university (roughly 3 to 6 hours per week to start)

- Phone-first filming is fine: we care about ideas and presence, not expensive gear
Selection process: shortlisted applicants complete a paid trial (one 60-second study-tip video). The strongest video wins the role.
