About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced System Administrator – Dayforce to join our busy People and Capability team, ideally based at our Perth Airport depot however, candidates from across Australia will be considered based on their experience.
The Opportunity
This newly created position will be responsible for providing excellent systems administration and frontline user support, ensuring the effective implementation, optimization, and management of Dayforce across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Test, manage and maintain Dayforce modules by configuring system settings, workflows, and business rules
- Maintain user accounts, role-based security, and access permissions across the organisation
- Ensure accurate data through regular audits, data validation, and by building custom queries and reports
- Lead system testing for routine updates, legislative changes, and new feature implementations
- Act as the escalation point to troubleshoot system errors, assist employees with operational questions, and coordinate with Dayforce Support.
Skills and Experience
- Significant experience consulting and configuring Dayforce workforce management, ideally through project delivery and BAU support
- Proven ability to understand and interpret complex industrial agreements
- Experience configuring or supporting pay rules, entitlements, schedules, accruals, allowances, overtime and penalties
- Strong understanding of workforce and payroll requirements paired with the ability to translate them into system outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver operational and project outcomes.
- Commitment to maintaining system security, availability and performance in accordance with organisational policies and government standards.
