About the Role:
As our Data Scientist/Data Analyst, you'll help shape how data drives decision-making across Uniti Group. Working closely with business leaders, operational teams, and the CIO function, you'll transform complex data into meaningful insights that improve performance, support strategic planning, and solve real business challenges. From developing executive dashboards and uncovering trends to applying advanced analytics and improving data quality, you'll play a key role in building a more data-driven organisation. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide meaningful business insights.
- Analyse operational, commercial, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance improvements.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and present clear, actionable recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Apply statistical analysis, forecasting, and other analytical techniques to support business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and analytics through data science and AI.
- Improve data quality, reporting standards, and governance to ensure trusted, consistent insights.
- Partner with business and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose analytical solutions.
- Promote a data-driven culture by sharing insights, best practices, and analytical expertise across the organisation.

Qualification & Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data science, analytics, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, KPI frameworks, and business reporting that supports decision-making.
- Strong SQL skills with experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience applying statistical analysis, forecasting, or analytical modelling techniques.
- Experience with enterprise data environments, data warehouses, or cloud-based data platforms.
- Sound understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, privacy, and responsible data use.
- Experience with PHP or R will be highly regarded.
- A tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is desirable.
