Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is inviting applications from newly qualified Enrolled Nurses to join our 12-month Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program. Working within a supportive and inclusive clinical environment, this program will help you develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required to become a competent, confident and accountable Enrolled Nurse
The Contract: Fixed Term 12 months, Part Time | 48 hours per fortnight
The Program:
Based within Tambo Ward, the 12-month program provides a structured and supportive learning environment where you will consolidate your clinical skills and develop your professional practice. Participants receive ongoing support from Nurse Unit Managers, educators and experienced nursing staff, while attending regular study days, completing assessments and participating in professional development activities throughout the year.
There will be an opportunity to apply for casual bank or permanent positions available at completion of the program.

What You Need:
- Recent completion (or near completion) of a Diploma of Nursing (within the last 6 months preferred)
- Current or pending AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, person‑centred care within scope of practice
- Sound communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to actively participate in study days, assessments and rotations
