We're excited to welcome a Social Worker - Senior (Rotating Leave Reliever) to our Social Work Services Department.
Experience within an emergency department, and across acute and sub-acute areas would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving across sites and clinical teams to provide valuable support for staff on well-earned leave. This role requires a flexible and adaptable clinician who can quickly orient to new environments, build effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, and confidently manage psychosocial assessment, risk assessment, and discharge planning within fast-paced hospital settings. This position demands the ability to work autonomously and independently in their clinical practice with a high degree of sound critical reflection.

Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver independent high level social work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced social work practitioners and students as delegated.
Adhere to relevant expectations outlined in the SCH and Allied Health Governance Framework documents and Business Rules to ensure that best patient outcomes are achieved in a transparent, ethical and accountable manner.
Remuneration value up to $110 151 p.a., comprising salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (p/t) or Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $157 359 p.a., comprising salary between $4912.70 - $5286.40 p.f. (f/t) employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (One Fixed Term Temporary Flexible Part time position, 53.2 hrs p.f. for 12 months and One Fixed Term Temporary Flexible Full time position, 76 hrs p.f. for 3 months).
