The Allied Health Clinic is expanding its services across South-Western Sydney and is seeking a passionate Speech Pathology Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Working under the direction and supervision of our Speech Pathologists, you may assist with:
- Supporting the delivery of speech pathology intervention programs.
- Implementing therapy activities and exercises as directed by the Speech Pathologist.
- Supporting clients during individual and group therapy sessions.
- Preparing therapy resources and activities.
- Assisting with communication, language, literacy and functional participation activities.
- Supporting clients in clinic, community and/or mobile settings.
- Providing feedback to the supervising Speech Pathologist regarding client participation and progress.
- Assisting with maintaining a positive, engaging and supportive therapy environment.
- Working collaboratively with Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals.

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
- Final Year Speech Pathology Student; OR
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or relevant allied health/healthcare experience or studies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A genuine interest in speech pathology and working with people across the lifespan.
- Ability to follow clinical directions and work under the supervision of a Speech Pathologist.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional, reliable and compassionate approach to client care.
Desirable:
- Valid Driver's License
- Current or previous experience working with children or adults with disability.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Checks (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement):
- National Police Clearance.
- Working with Children Check and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Location & Flexibility
The role may involve a combination of clinic-based and mobile/community work, depending on client and service requirements.
