About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to assist a participant with complex care needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s daily life through both personal care and structured support activities.
This is a casual position with a gradual onboarding process, starting with exercise support and progressing into personal care.
Shift Details
- Approx. 2 days per week (flexible days)
- Morning shifts: 7:00am – 9:30am
- Exercise support shifts: 10:30am – 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with exercise routines and physical support programs
- Provide personal care (with training provided)
- Support mobility including transfers (bed, wheelchair, shower chair, etc.)
- Follow client communication cues, including visual cues
- Deliver care in a respectful, consistent, and reliable manner
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience (preferred but not essential):
- Bowel care
- Catheter care
- Manual handling
- One-person transfers
- Willingness to learn — training provided for the right candidate
- Ability to support individuals with communication challenges

Additional Requirements
- Experience or willingness to work in complex care environments
- Completion (or willingness to complete) relevant training such as:
- Bowel care
