We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Line Operators to join our Production team at our Truganina site. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering fixed 12-hour shifts, overtime opportunities and long-term career growth within a growing national business.
As a Line Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production lines operate safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality products to our customers. You'll be responsible for operating and monitoring packaging machinery, maintaining production standards, identifying issues before they become problems, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality outcomes.
- Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment
- Complete quality checks and ensure products meet specification
- Identify and report safety, quality and equipment issues
- Troubleshoot basic machine faults and assist with adjustments
- Conduct production line checks and monitor machine performance
- Complete production records and reporting requirements
- Assist with machine changeovers and routine maintenance activities
- Maintain housekeeping standards across the production area
- Adhere to all safety, quality and food safety requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or packaging environment
- Experience operating production or packaging machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to safety and quality
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn and take initiative
- A current Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
- Experience working within food and beverage manufacturing environments (advantageous)
- Full-time permanent employment
- Fixed roster of 84 hours / 7 shifts per fortnight
- Opportunity to work either a permanent 12:00am - 12:00pm shift or permanent 12:00pm - 12:00am shift
