We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our growing team at Smashed Society in Dayton!
We’re all about great coffee, great food, and great vibes, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and knows how to deliver consistently excellent coffee during a busy service.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Barista in a busy café or restaurant
- Strong knowledge of espresso, milk texturing and coffee preparation
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality coffee
- Confident working during busy periods and managing multiple orders
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good knowledge of café operations and hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and creating a great customer experience
Your responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality espresso coffee, milk-based coffees and other beverages
- Maintaining consistency, speed and presentation throughout service
- Setting up and closing the coffee station
- Keeping the coffee area clean, organised and well stocked
- Following recipes, procedures and food safety standards
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Working closely with the FOH and kitchen teams
