We’re looking for a skilled, caring and reliable Disability Support Workers to assist participants who have sustained a Spinal Cord Injury with everyday daily living needs.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Carers / Support Workers to assist client/s who are living with physical disability. The role involves providing support with daily living activities and personal care in a respectful and professional manner. Along with community Access.
Key Details
- Shift: Morning, Community Access, Evening and Sleepovers
- Days: Variable roster (flexibility required) and set days for the right candidate.
- Additional Work: Other shifts may be available with different participants within the Brisbane area and Gold Coast.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily living needs, plus access to the community
- Provide mobility support and safe wheelchair transfers
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Maintain a supportive and respectful environment
- Follow care plans and training provided

About You
- Experience in disability or aged care support - essential
- A caring and empathetic approach
- Reliable and punctual - essential
- Ability to follow instructions, care plans and work independently
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
- Dedicated specialised training for SCI with our Clinical Nurse
