Steps & Strides works with children and families across Victoria providing In Home Child Care, Disability Support and Nanny Services.
We are currently seeking, a Child Care Educator for an In Home Childcare role in Abbotsford caring for a 4 year old with Autism, who is non verbal with sensory feeding needs, and a primary school aged sibling.
- You will provide daily care, education and developmentally appropriate experiences.
Mondays 8am- 1pm 3pm-6pm.
Wednesday 8am- 1pm and 3pm-6pm.
Fridays 8am -2pm. shifts being paid 7:30am-9:30am and 11:30am -2pm.
- Role includes driving, can use the family vehicle for school pick-ups and drop offs when required.
- Other families may be available to increase your working hours.
- You will be supported by Steps & Strides throughout your placement.
You must hold
- a current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- a current First Aid certificate
- a certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care or Education Support or be currently studying in the field,
- and have a reliable method of transport
