Kerman Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Site Contracts Administrator for a large NPI project with a Tier 1 Miner in WA. This role will initially be based at our Head Office in Applecross (2-3 weeks) before transitioning to a site-based position on a 2/1 FIFO roster. As a Site Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in managing contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting the successful delivery of the project from commencement through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Site Contracts Administrator will include:
- Preparing subcontract documentation and administering subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle
- Assessing head contract and subcontract progress claims and processing payments accordingly
- Drafting and managing contractual correspondence, including Variations (VQ), Notices of Delay (NOD), Extensions of Time (EOT), and Technical Queries (TQ)
- Maintaining accurate correspondence registers with clients and subcontractors
- Working closely with the Lead Contracts Administrator and Site Contracts Administrator to support project delivery
- Liaising with project planners and engineers to assess delays and EOT requirements
- Assisting the Project Manager with maintaining accurate job costing data in Cheops, including Commitments, Head Contracts, and Subcontract Variations
- Managing project costings, forecasting costs to complete, and preparing project cost reports
- Liaising with Senior Management and subcontractors regarding contractual obligations, legal considerations, and liabilities
- Supporting project close-out activities and final account administration
About You
To be successful for the Site Contracts Administrator role, you will ideally possess:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (desirable but not essential)
- 2-4 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within construction, commercial, or related project environments
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed computer skills, particularly across the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- A proactive, team-focused approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
