We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to provide ongoing support to a participant in
Taree who is living with a spinal cord injury.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident with personal care, enjoys meaningful one-on-one support, and wants to be part of a role where no two days feel exactly the same.
Your role may include:
- Personal care and daily living support
- Domestic assistance and household tasks
- Medication prompting
- Shopping, appointments and social outings
- Supporting the participant to stay independent and achieve personal goals
- Providing companionship and building a positive professional relationship
Pay Rates
E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
- Base hourly rate: $35.15
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37
- Saturday: $49.21
- Sunday: $63.27
- Public holiday: $77.33
Experience supporting people with spinal cord injuries or complex physical support needs will be highly regarded.
