Salary Range: $80,000 - $82,000 per annum plus superannuation

About the Role:
As the Cafe Manager at Cafe Matta, you will play a crucial role in administrating and operating our diverse food and beverage services.
· Leading and developing a professional team, ensuring high-quality standards and team performance to drive guest satisfaction and meet financial objectives.
· Planning and executing menus in consultation with Chefs, and organising special functions to enhance our guest experience.
· Managing the department's operational budget, financials, purchasing, pricing of goods, and maintaining stock level records.
· Ensuring all dining facilities adhere to health regulations and are clean, functional, and visually appealing.
· Engaging with guests to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, confidently exceeding service standards.
· Selecting, training, and supervising a dynamic team, including managing staff schedules, training, and performance.
· Actively participating in daily operations, such as taking reservations, greeting guests upon arrival, and assisting in taking orders to ensure a personalised and exceptional service experience for every customer.
What you will need:
· Proven experience, preferably at least 2-3 years, in Food and Beverage management within a café, bar, or restaurant setting.
· A strategic mindset with a flair for open-mindedness and creativity in hospitality management.
· Strong leadership skills, with experience in team management, training and development, and performance management.
· Ability to thrive in a busy cafe environment with a guest-oriented approach.
· Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
