Most sales roles hand you a portfolio and ask you to keep it warm. This one hands you an entire industry segment and asks you to go and win it. Strata management firms, body corporate committees, and hundreds of dormant schemes waiting for a reason to come back.
It was never just pest control. Bittn was built to do it differently: not by tweaking the old model but by rebuilding it from the ground up around one idea, smarter, safer science. Pest control built for the modern world.
Pest control in Australia is a $2 billion industry that forgot to evolve: thousands of small operators, a few foreign-owned nationals, and barely any innovation in decades.
Founded in 2013 and fast approaching 100 people, Bittn is one of the fastest-growing privately owned pest control businesses in the country, investing heavily in technology, AI and automation, and on track to triple revenue over the next three years, roughly ten times the pace of the industry around it.
Founder-led, purpose-driven, and only just getting started.
The strata and body corporate segment is one of the biggest recurring-revenue opportunities in our market, and this seat is how we take it.
Your title will be Industry Sales Manager (Strata & Body Corporate). The role is newly created, and the segment is yours: the strata management firms, body corporate committees and owners corporations responsible for common property, from small schemes to large multi-tenant complexes.
This is a builder's seat. The sale runs through committees and AGM cycles, so it's longer-cycle and multi-stakeholder, and education carries it: showing strata managers and committees what their compliance obligations are on common property, and why Bittn does it differently.
You'll report to our Head of Sales, with sales support processing the transaction volume so you can sell, escalate, and own the relationships.
You don't need to know pest control. We'll teach you our world. What we can't teach is yours: the relationships, the credibility, and the instinct for how this world buys.
- Strata management firms won to preferred supplier status, and schemes landed beneath them.
- Dormant accounts brought back to life. There are hundreds, and each one has history with us.
- A market that understands its compliance obligations on common property, and chooses Bittn because of it.
- A pipeline built in Salesforce and timed to AGM cycles, with forecasting our Head of Sales can bank on.
- A managed book that renews because the month-to-month experience keeps getting smoother.
You're a hunter with patience. You're energised by building a book that doesn't exist yet, and you can hold momentum through an approval cycle that runs across an AGM calendar without going quiet. Ideally you already know this world, and your network means your first calls are warm ones. You lead with education, not discounts. You hold your cadence without anyone chasing you. And you're as credible with a committee chair as you are with a field technician, on the same day, in the same clothes.
- 3+ years in B2B sales or account management carrying an individual target, met or exceeded.
- Ideally, time inside or alongside the strata world: strata management, body corporate services, or selling to the firms and committees that run it.
- A territory or portfolio you built, not inherited.
- Long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles you personally ran through to close.
- Consultative, education-led selling: you can teach a customer why a service is different, not just quote it.
- A pipeline you run yourself in a CRM, with accurate stages and forecasting. Salesforce regarded.
- Self-directed use of technology and automation to remove your own manual sales admin.
- Ground floor of a segment, not a seat in a machine. What you build here is yours.
- A business that's deliberately different, and means it: tech-forward, customer-obsessed, no theatre.
- A sales function designed properly: support processes the volume, you do the selling.
- An above market base plus super, and uncapped commission. The more you build, the more you earn.
