About Us:
Barden Farms is a vertically integrated farming operation that grows, packs and distributes fresh vegetables daily to multiple customers. Barden Farms consists of several farming operations, along with production and dispatch facilities. These operations are to work together as a team to provide fresh, high-quality produce in a timely manner to their customers.
The Positions:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team at Barden Farms. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to develop their accounting skills in a dynamic, operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage purchase orders to support accurate accounts payable functions
- Compliance and regulatory reporting
- Enter and maintain financial and inventory data within accounting systems (e.g., Business Central)
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation including the preparation and interpretation of financial statements
- Provision of accounting and financial advice to management
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding accounts and stock-related matters
General Skills and Experience:
- Relevant qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently studying)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience, skills and knowledge.
