Stay-In Caretaker for Boutique Hotel in Sydney City (MUST LIVE-IN HOTEL)
Location: Ultimo, Sydney City near UTS and TAFE
Position: Stay-In Caretaker
Night Shifts: 3-4 shifts weekly including weekends
Contract Duration: 6 months to 1 year
Compensation: Competitive nightly wage of $129 with solo room provided for $35/night

We are looking for a dedicated Stay-In Caretaker to provide crucial after-hours (10PM-7AM) support and ensure our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay.
What We Offer:
- Comfortable Accommodation: Must stay on-site. Enjoy a private, fully furnished room for $35/night which will be conveniently deducted from your weekly wage.
- Shared Facilities: Access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, shared with one other night staff
- Flexible Shifts: Work 3-4 shifts per week after 10PM
- Ideal for Students or Extra Income Seekers: Perfect for students or individuals with full-time jobs looking for additional earnings.
- Short-Term Role: A commitment of 6 months to 1 year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding guest service during night shifts.
- Address guest requests, concerns, or emergencies promptly and professionally.
- Provide support to Reception and operational needs.
- Ensure the hotel remains secure and operational throughout the night.
- Handle minor maintenance and resolve small issues as they arise.
- Oversee waste disposal and minor cleaning on public areas.
- Maintain a visible presence in common areas to assist guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality / front desk or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Must be able to work independently during night shifts.
- Reliability and a friendly attitude are essential.
