Details: Do you have an interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital innovation? Join our team and help deliver Whole-of-Government AI services that support smarter, safer and more effective public services.
As an AI Services Officer, you will support the delivery and adoption of AI services across the ACT Government, including managing AI tools, coordinating use cases, supporting service improvements, and contributing to governance, security assurance and compliance activities. Working with stakeholders across government, you will help drive AI initiatives from concept through to implementation while ensuring services remain secure, reliable and aligned with government priorities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful applicant must be an Australian citizen and possess or acquire and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance at Baseline level as an eligibility qualification. If AGSVA screening is not successful, your employment will not commence or, if already commenced, your employment will be reassessed.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. This position requires the occupant to be an Australian citizen.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
