About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will perform an array of duties that will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and fulfilling orders, completing stocktakes, and organising stock in the Warehouse. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assisting in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking stock.
- Preparing orders by processing orders, picking stock, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sorting and placing stock or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organisational standards.
- Open and unpacking boxes, pallets, crates, ad other containers.
- Maintaining inventory controls by maintaining stock locations, warehouse organisational standards, and placing all stock back into the correct locations.
- Assisting in stock counts of physical inventory.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstation neat.
Skills & Experience
- Hold a valid and current forklift license, or have the capacity to obtain one.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic data-entry and computer skills may be required.
- Be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25kg and occasionally move objects that weigh more than 50kg.
- Be able to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally be required to sit at a desk.
