Make a positive and lasting impact as you lead our Psychological Services capability. In this role, you will manage and develop a specialist team of Psychologists, Social Workers and Rehabilitation Counsellors, supporting them to deliver high quality, evidence-informed services for workers, employers and customers navigating psychological injury, psychosocial risk and complex return to work needs.

You’ll be responsible for:
-
Leading, coaching and supporting a specialist team of Psychologists, Social Workers and Rehabilitation Counsellors

Providing structured onboarding, technical training, mentoring and ongoing professional support for new and developing team members

Overseeing the quality, consistency and commercial performance of psych-specific services, including psychological injury management, counselling-based services, mental health fitness for work assessments, psychological functional capacity evaluations and facilitated discussions

Maintaining your own capability to deliver psychological services directly, while supporting others to build confidence and competence in this space

Engaging with customers, insurers, employers and internal stakeholders to promote Konekt’s psychological services capability and support strong service outcomes

Ensuring services are timely, accurate and aligned to legislative, customer SLA, clinical governance and Konekt quality standards

Identifying opportunities to grow psych-specific services, strengthen customer relationships and improve outcomes for workers with psychological injuries or psychosocial barriers

Thinking about applying? Here's what we're looking for:

Tertiary qualification and relevant professional registration or membership as a Psychologist, Social Worker or Rehabilitation Counsellor

Strong experience delivering workplace rehabilitation, injury management or psychological services within a workers compensation environment
-
Demonstrated capability in managing psychological injury claims, psychosocial barriers, vocational rehabilitation and return to work planning
-
Experience delivering or supporting psych-specific services such as counselling-based interventions, mental health fitness for work assessments, psychological functional capacity evaluations, vocational counselling or facilitated discussions
-
Ability to train, mentor and support clinicians and consultants to develop confidence, technical capability and quality practice in psychological services

Leadership experience, or strong readiness to step into a leadership role with responsibility for team development, quality and customer engagement
-
Practical knowledge of workers compensation legislation, case management, stakeholder engagement and customer service expectations

Commercial acumen, service growth mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with insurers, employers and internal stakeholders

Energetic, positive and motivated approach, with a passion for improving outcomes for people experiencing psychological injury or barriers to work
