Disability Support Worker – Transport Assistance (Casual)
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide transport assistance for a client requiring support to attend a medical appointment.
About the Role:
- Provide safe and respectful transport assistance
- Support the client with community access and appointments
- Assist with mobility needs, including support with a walking aid
- Ensure a comfortable and safe experience throughout the service
- Complete required service notes and report any concerns appropriately
Shift Details:
- Service Type: Transport Support
- Date: 30/07
- Time: 10:00 AM – 1:25 PM
- Location: Deloraine / Launceston area
Requirements:
- Experience in disability, aged care, or community support preferred
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Must have a small vehicle suitable for client access
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and professional conduct
- Ability to provide safe and person-centred support
Important:
- Worker must be comfortable supporting clients with mobility requirements.
- High attention to safety and client wellbeing is required.
- Relevant screening questions will apply.
