Series One is looking for reliable and hardworking Casual IT Field Technicians to join our team on a flexible basis.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work, variety across different sites, and being out in the field rather than stuck behind a desk. You’ll be our “go-to” person for hardware installations, deployments, and technical support across client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites (mainly retail, restaurants, offices) to install and set up IT equipment (POS systems, displays, network gear, racks, etc.)
- Perform hardware installations, replacements, and basic troubleshooting
- Carry out preventative maintenance and site clean-ups
- Document work completed (photos, checklists, basic reports)
- Represent Series One professionally at client locations
What You’ll Bring
- Strong hands-on / practical skills (previous experience in IT, electrical, AV, security, or general labouring is highly regarded)
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence + your own reliable vehicle
- Good communication skills – able to speak clearly with store managers and staff
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
