Your Opportunity
We are excited to be recruiting for a newly shaped Innovation Coordinator for our Customer & Innovation group.
You will be joining a team that’s responsible for creating new solutions for internal, industrial, commercial and residential customers, within and beyond our service territory. We collaborate with our customers and stakeholders to shape opportunities, develop the new products and services, and ultimately operate the commercial business units.
The Innovation Coordinator is responsible to bring our innovation portfolio to life. The role works with internal customers, sparking, communicating, enabling and supporting innovation and continuous improvement projects.
You will own our internal innovation platform from end-to-end, acting as the front door for idea intake, evaluation, and progression while ensuring strong engagement across the business. It combines program management, stakeholder facilitation, and governance to move ideas forward, maintain momentum, and build innovation capability throughout the enterprise.
Some of your accountabilities will include:
Provide support services, recommend project controls, configure tools/processes, support portfolio pipeline and quality reviews, provide guidance on proposals, and contribute cross-program oversight.
Working in partnership with subject matter experts to facilitate problem-solving and collaboration to enable effective delivery by virtual teams on small to medium sized projects.
Map stakeholders and develop a stakeholder engagement plan with tailored strategies to build effective working relationships and achieve desired innovation outcomes.
Maintain and manage innovation platform and propose improvements to the design. Oversee functionality, usability, accessibility of portal; manage content tools; ensure technical continuity and standards.
Draft project and program review reports and presentations, including key information, commentary, and recommendations to support the review process and enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on change.
About You:
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
You are an innovation champion with a growth mindset, excelling at aligning objectives and achieving desired outcomes.
Skilled at engaging subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business, asking the right questions, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to generate and drive innovation programs.
Experienced with coordinating and driving projects, tracking information and decision outcomes within a database or portal.
Tertiary education in business, communications, or a related technical field is desirable, although not essential
