We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roster Coordinator to join our team at Coolum on a full-time basis. This role plays an important part in ensuring our care teams are rostered effectively so residents receive consistent, high-quality support every day.

About the Role
As the Roster Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining team member rosters to meet service needs, staffing requirements and operational demands.
You will work closely with the Residential Services Manager and site team to ensure rosters are accurate, compliant and aligned with resident care needs, team member availability, contracted hours and budget requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain rosters in line with site structure, service needs and budgeted hours.
- Coordinate daily roster changes and arrange relief team members as required.
- Ensure correct staffing levels and skill mix are maintained.
- Allocate shifts in accordance with employment agreements and roster requirements.
- Coordinate leave schedules and update roster variations.
- Ensure team member timesheets are accurate and submitted within required timeframes.
- Liaise with team members regarding rostering queries.
- Escalate matters such as unplanned absences, no-shows or excessive leave to the Residential Services Manager.
- Support general administrative duties as required.
About You
You are organised, calm under pressure and confident managing competing priorities in a busy operational environment.
You will bring:
- Experience coordinating rosters or scheduling team members.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to adapt to rostering systems and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to problem-solve and respond quickly to changing staffing needs.
- A positive, flexible and team-focused approach.
- Understanding of employment conditions, enterprise agreements or rostering compliance will be highly regarded.
Required Qualifications or Certificates
- Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant practical experience.
- Previous rostering or workforce coordination experience.
- National Police Check.
- Pre-employment medical assessment.
