We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Risk, Compliance and Audit team as
Manager, Conduct and Integrity.
This is a unique opportunity to drive enterprise-wide integrity initiatives, strengthen organisational culture, and lead the University's approach to professional standards, complaints management, fraud and corruption prevention, and conflicts of interest.
Working closely with senior leaders across the University, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Curtin continues to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency and accountability.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director, Risk Compliance and Audit, you will provide strategic leadership and specialist expertise across Curtin's integrity framework.
You will lead a small team responsible for delivering advice, education, prevention and response activities relating to:
- Professional standards and conduct
- Complaints management
- Fraud and corruption prevention and response
- Conflicts of interest
- Integrity risk management and reporting
This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires the ability to navigate complex and sensitive matters while building trusted relationships across the University and with external stakeholders.
Who we are looking for/Selection Criteria:
- Significant experience in integrity, governance, compliance, investigations, complaints management, fraud and corruption prevention, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary integrity frameworks, professional standards and best-practice complaints management.
- Demonstrated experience conducting or overseeing investigations and preparing high-quality reports and recommendations.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership experience with a commitment to developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Experience within higher education, government or other large and complex organisations will be highly regarded.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered

This Continuous G08 level role attracts a remuneration of $119,125 - $126,950 + 17% superannuation.
