Liwara Catholic Primary School OSHC is seeking a passionate, caring and enthusiastic OSHC Educator to join our team. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can play, explore, create and build meaningful relationships.This is initially a casual position, with the potential for the right person to move into a permanent part-time position as opportunities become available.
About the Role
As an OSHC Educator, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for primary school-aged children.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Support and participate in our daily OSHC program and activities.
- Help create fun, engaging and inclusive experiences based on children's interests.
- Assist with before school care, after school care and vacation care.
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
- Support children's wellbeing, learning and development.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and friendly team.
- Contribute to our ongoing Quality Improvement and programming practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants will ideally have:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, School Age Education and Care, or a relevant qualification, or be working towards one.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in an OSHC setting.
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain these.
- A genuine commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school community.

Pay: $28.36 – $39.93 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
