About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Filipina female Disability Support Worker to join our team, to care for a Filipina Participant. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals living with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
- Support clients with community participation and social activities.
- Assist with meal preparation, medication prompts, and light household duties.
- Maintain accurate client records and progress notes.
- Encourage independence while respecting clients' dignity and individual choices.
- Follow individual support plans and workplace health and safety procedures.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar support role.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability), Aged Care, or equivalent (preferred).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Valid Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays if required.
