About the role:
Operating within Data Excellence , the Senior Data Migration Lead provides leadership, strategic oversight and authoritative assurance for data migration activities across ACU's most complex and high risk enterprise programs including the time limited Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation and Student Management System modernisation. Acting with a high degree of autonomy and professional authority, the position is accountable for establishing and enforcing data migration governance frameworks, assuring compliance with regulatory, institutional and architectural standards, and providing evidence based advice and sign off to program and executive governance bodies. Working alongside external suppliers, the Senior Data Migration Lead will ensure that data migration activities align with university business requirements, governance standards, regulatory obligations and program milestones. Whilst the supplier is responsible for loading data into target systems this role will provide active oversight, validation, coordination and perform source system extraction and transformation activities. The role may also be required to perform targeted analysis or prototyping to support assurance, decision making and risk mitigation.
The Senior Data Migration Lead operates as ACU's senior subject matter authority for data migration leading cross functional collaboration with business data owners, architects, program leadership, privacy and records teams, and delivery partners ensuring that migration outcomes are fit for purpose, strategically aligned, secure and sustainable so that data readiness does not present a residual risk to business continuity, compliance or university reputation.

- Total remuneration valued to $160,162 - $170,900 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $135,360 - $144,538 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
