Cedar Bakery is looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team. We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment, delivers exceptional customer service, and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality coffee with excellent latte art.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso and produce excellent latte art.
- Manage workflow efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and speed.
- Dial in espresso and monitor coffee quality throughout service.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well stocked coffee station.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Barista in a busy café environment.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and coffee preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to produce consistent latte art (rosettas & tulips)
- Ability to work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional presentation.
- Passion for specialty coffee and continuous improvement.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts.
