Roundwood Civil is currently seeking experienced Dogmen for ongoing work with leading civil construction contractors across Melbourne's western suburbs.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on major infrastructure and civil projects with a company that values safety, reliability and quality workers.
About the Role
As a Dogman, you will be responsible for:
- Directing crane operations and communicating with crane operators
- Ensuring all lifting operations are carried out safely
- Working closely with crane crews, supervisors and site teams
- Following all site safety procedures and project requirements
Essential Requirements
- Current High Risk Work Dogging (DG) Licence
- Construction White Card
- Previous experience working as a Dogman on civil or commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of safe lifting practices
- Reliable transport
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Highly Regarded
- Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging Licence (RB, RI or RA)
- Working at Heights
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- Telehandler ticket
- Electrical Spotter Licence
- Civil construction experience
- Other high-risk work licences
