About the role
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at Narooma Medical and Specialist Centre. As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy medical practice, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the facility. This is a full-time role based in our Narooma, NSW 2546 location.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the overall operations of the medical practice, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial management
- Implement and maintain effective administrative systems and procedures to optimise practice workflow
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of administrative and clinical support staff
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement strategies for practice growth and improvement
- Manage the practice's budget and financial reporting
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the patient experience and improve overall practice performance
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a practice management or similar healthcare administration role
- Thorough understanding of medical practice operations, healthcare regulations, and financial management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficient in the use of medical practice management software and other relevant technologies
- Proven track record in leading and motivating teams to achieve organisational goals
- Commitment to promoting a positive, patient-centric culture within the practice
