Details: The ACT Heritage Library and Territory Records Office is seeking a highly capable and motivated Manager, Digitisation and Mail Services to lead critical services that support the preservation, management and accessibility of ACT Government records. This role plays a key part in ensuring records and mail services are delivered in line with legislative, policy and governance requirements, while driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
As Manager, Digitisation and Mail Services, you will:

Lead and manage a team delivering end‑to‑end digitisation services, including high‑quality digital capture, metadata creation, and the secure handling and preservation of physical records.

Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the ACT Government Mailroom, ensuring reliable, timely and compliant service delivery.

Actively manage operational risks and contributes to governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and responds effectively to emerging priorities.

Fosters a positive, inclusive and performance‑focused workplace culture, building team capability through coaching, development and workforce planning to support sustainable service delivery.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Ability to work in a manual‑handling environment. A current driver’s licence (C‑Class or Provisional) is essential.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period up to Six months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill future vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based off applications and referees only.
