About the Role
Working as part of the production team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of haul trucks, helping to keep production moving while maintaining the highest standards of safety and equipment care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating haul trucks in an open-cut mining environment
- Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Reporting equipment faults and maintenance requirements
- Following site procedures and safety standards at all times
- Working closely with Supervisors, Dispatch and other production personnel
- Operating efficiently to achieve daily production targets
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and equipment care
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous production mining experience operating haul trucks
- Demonstrated experience on CAT 777 haul trucks or equivalent-sized mining equipment
- A strong commitment to safety and responsible equipment operation
- The ability to work effectively within a high-performing production team
- A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to site
- The ability to meet all site access and pre-employment requirements
