In this role, you'll:
Work as a key member of the Technical Design and Engineering team delivering specialist technical design services for rail infrastructure and station upgrade projects across Transport for NSW Rail Programs.
You will support the technical design of complex rail infrastructure projects, providing technical advice and problem resolution, managing design risks and opportunities, contributing to procurement activities, and working closely with project teams and design contractors to deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes.
You will help drive technical excellence and project outcomes in a fast-moving environment balancing competing priorities, complex stakeholder relationships, and the delivery of critical rail infrastructure that connects communities across NSW.
This role offers exposure to major transport infrastructure projects, a large variety of stakeholders and opportunities to further develop your project management and technical engineering expertise.
This is a long fixed-term opportunity until 30/11/2029
You home office will be 680 George St, Sydney, with 2 days a month spent in Macquarie Park

About you
With a couple of years post-graduate experience, you will be able to demonstrate technical design/engineering capabilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and rail (preferred) project experience.
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience with demonstrated experience supporting the technical delivery of infrastructure, engineering, or asset-based projects.
A proactive approach to managing competing priorities and delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes as well as a commitment to safety, integrity, collaboration, and customer-focused service delivery.
