What you’ll do:
Join the Group Tax team and play a key role in delivering tax advice, governance and support across the business. You’ll provide practical and commercially focused advice on Australian and international corporate tax matters, support the Group’s tax reporting obligations, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external revenue authorities.
This is an opportunity to contribute to complex corporate transactions, tax governance and compliance while helping drive improvements across our tax systems, processes and technology.
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide tax advice on restructures, asset sell-downs, debt funding and other corporate matters.

Manage Australian tax compliance, including PRRT, Decommissioning Levy and State Petroleum Royalties.

Support tax governance, audits, assurance reviews and risk management.

Assist with tax reporting, forecasting and financial statement requirements.

Support tax systems, process improvements and automation initiatives.

Provide advice and support to corporate functions and Australian assets.

Liaise with revenue authorities and external stakeholders.

Support broader Group Tax activities as required.
What you’ll bring:

10+ years’ accounting experience in a large corporate or Chartered Accounting environment, preferably oil and gas.

Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, tax governance and taxation administration.

Proven tax advisory and risk management experience.

Strong commercial, analytical and communication skills.

Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.

Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

CA/CPA and/or Masters of Tax.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Law or a related discipline.
