Sales Engineer –Victoria (FMTP)

About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Sales Engineer to grow our Foodmach Technology Products (FMTP) business across Victoria. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise with consultative sales to help customers select the right packaging automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting
- Conduct site visits, identify customer needs, and develop tailored solutions
- Prepare proposals, present solutions, and close sales
- Grow key product lines, particularly Markem-Imaje coding & labelling systems
- Build long-term customer relationships and repeat business
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver strong customer outcomes

- Strong sales activity and pipeline growth
- Increased market share across the territory
- Growth in repeat customers and overall revenue
About You
- Experience in technical sales, packaging, or industrial equipment
- Strong problem-solving and customer engagement skills
- Comfortable managing long sales cycles and working independently
- Willing to travel regularly throughout Victoria and NSW
- Engineering or technical background
- Strong experience with Coding and Labelling technology, (e.g. Markem Imaje), Product Inspection, Robotic Palletising, and Stretch Wrapping technologies.
