About the role
As Senior Leader Change & Communications, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our people are informed, engaged and ready to embrace change. Leading a team of change and communication professionals, you'll establish and embed enterprise-wide frameworks, build organisational capability, and provide strategic guidance to executives and program leaders across some of the Bank's most important transformation initiatives.
Joining at a pivotal time, you'll help guide the Bank through a significant period of transformation, ensuring our people remain informed, engaged and empowered as we evolve our systems, processes and ways of working.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team of change managers, change analysts and communications specialists
- Establishing and embedding enterprise-wide change management frameworks, standards and governance practices
- Ensuring high-quality change strategies are developed and executed across major transformation programs
- Partnering with senior leaders to identify, develop and grow change management capability across the Bank
- Optimising resource planning and workforce capability to support program delivery demands
- Identifying and mitigating change risks, resistance and adoption challenges at portfolio and program level
- Providing trusted advice to executives and delivery leaders on stakeholder engagement, communication and change strategy
- Leading enterprise communication planning, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and aligned with strategic priorities
- Governing communication channels and standards across the portfolio to strengthen transparency and engagement
- Driving the evolution of enterprise knowledge management capability, including strategy, frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are an experienced change and communications leader who thrives in complex environments and understands how to bring people on the journey through transformation.
You combine strategic thinking with strong execution capability and are known for your ability to influence senior stakeholders, build trust and create alignment across diverse groups.
You will also bring:
- Substantial experience in change management, communications or a combination of both disciplines
- Solid experience leading teams, portfolios or enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated success delivering communication and change strategies for large-scale organisational change programs
- Experience managing cultural, organisational, process, policy and technology-driven change
- Strong understanding of both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building skills
- The ability to navigate complex environments and drive collaboration across multiple business areas
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, meaningful messages
Tertiary qualifications in business, Commerce, Project Management, Organisational Psychology, Change Management or a related discipline and Change Management Certification (e.g. Prosci) will be highly regarded.
