Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll assist patients, visitors, and staff while helping prevent, identify, and respond to incidents across a fast‑paced healthcare environment. From customer service and patrols to emergency response and critical incident support, you’ll help protect people, property, and wellbeing—delivering calm, professional, and respectful security services where it matters most. As a Security Officer with South Western Sydney Local Health District, you’ll deliver highly visible security services through foot and vehicle patrols and control room operations, helping to maintain a safe and secure hospital environment for staff, patients, and visitors across the campus. You’ll play a key role in conflict resolution and emergency response, responding calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and working closely with clinical and operational teams to prevent escalation and ensure safety at all time.
