About Suzy's
Suzy's is Perth's most exciting new venue — a place where great food, hand-crafted cocktails, and genuine good energy come together at the water's edge in Hillarys Boat Harbour. We are a venue built around beautifully presented share plates, handmade pizzas, fresh pasta, quality drinks, and a genuine atmosphere — the kind of place where people come to relax, have fun, and leave already planning their next visit. We hold ourselves to a high standard across everything we do, and that runs from the front door all the way through to the kitchen. We haven't even opened yet and the anticipation has already exceeded our expectations — we cannot wait to get started.
The Role
We are building our kitchen team ahead of opening and are looking for passionate, reliable chefs across all levels — from Commis through to Chef de Partie. Whether you are looking for casual shifts or a full-time position, we would love to hear from you. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen where presentation and consistency are non-negotiable. Our menu is centred around share plates, handmade pizzas, and fresh pasta, and we take real pride in how every dish looks and tastes. You will be part of a team that holds each other to a high standard and genuinely enjoys the work.
What We Are Looking For
We are open to chefs at various stages of their career — what matters most is that you show up, work hard, and care about the product you are putting out. Experience in Italian cuisine, pizza, or the pan section is a bonus but not essential. More important is that you are reliable, coachable, and able to hold your own in a busy service. Personality counts for a lot at Suzy's. We have built a strong community around this venue before we have even opened, and we need a team that understands the role they play in upholding that. If you take pride in your work, communicate well, and bring a positive attitude to every shift, you will fit right in.
