We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintenance of employee records, and providing administrative support.
The successful candidate will have strong payroll processing experience, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with relevant legislative and organisational requirements.
22.5 hour/week position with the possibility of school hours.
- Processing monthly and fortnightly payrolls, ensuring all employee payments are accurate and completed within required timeframes.
- Reviewing payroll data, validating payroll information, distributing pay advices, and maintaining payroll records.
- Processing monthly and fortnightly timesheets and time and attendance data for full-time, part-time, and casual employees.
- Updating and maintaining employee information within the payroll system, including personal details, taxation information, superannuation funds, bank account details, and other employment-related records.
- Responding to payroll-related enquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
- Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and record management.
- Supporting the Finance team with administrative tasks and other duties as required.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Demonstrated payroll processing experience.
- General administrative experience.
- Experience using Frontier Software products, including iChris and Clipboard (Desirable).
- Previous experience working within a school environment (Desirable).
- Knowledge of relevant payroll legislation, including Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation (Desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
