Position Description
The Facilities Manager is the central point for everything that keeps Complete Farmer’s offices and fulfilment centres running smoothly. You will own the full spectrum of facilities management, company vehicle and asset oversight, logistics support for travel and visa services, and the allocation of working tools. Partnering closely with HR and Operations, you’ll align physical spaces and resources with our growth plans, employee well-being, and operational efficiency, while maintaining top standards of safety, sustainability, and cost control.
What You’ll Do:
- Facilities Management: Oversee maintenance, security, utilities, and daily operations of all offices and fulfilment centres, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and fully functional.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and manage emergency repairs for buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Company Vehicles & Asset Management: Administer the fleet of company vehicles, including scheduling servicing, ensuring licensing and insurance compliance, monitoring usage, and managing company-wide asset registers.
- Logistics Support: Coordinate flight bookings, hotel reservations, visa application support, and ride-hailing account management for staff and visitors.
- Working Tools Management: Oversee allocation, tracking, and maintenance of laptops, mobile devices, and other essential equipment for employees and field teams.
- Space Planning & Office Moves: Support space planning and office moves, including seating layouts, equipment needs, and employee relocations.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with HR and Operations to align facility needs with organizational growth, employee well-being, and operational efficiency.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate and manage service contracts for cleaning, security, utilities, and maintenance providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental standards; maintain records of inspections and certifications.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare and manage the annual facilities and logistics budget; track costs, highlight variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Cross-Site Coordination: Travel regularly to all offices and fulfilment centres to audit operations, provide support, and ensure consistency of standards across regions.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmentally responsible practices across all facilities.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, administration, or operations roles
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices
- Demonstrated experience managing company vehicles, assets, and vendor contracts
- Familiarity with travel logistics and support services (flight booking, visa processing, accommodation coordination)
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different sites
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with facility management or asset-tracking software
- Strong budgeting, negotiation, and cost-control capabilities
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to regional offices and fulfilment centres
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
