Details: Procurement ACT is seeking to temporarily fill two Senior Officer Grade B (SOG B) positions:

Director, Governance and Accreditation (12 months temporary with the possibility of extension up to 24 months and/or permanency); and
-
Director, Capability and Engagement (eight weeks temporary with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency).
These roles offer an opportunity to shape whole of government procurement policy, capability, governance and stakeholder engagement initiatives while leading high performing teams.
The Policy and Capability Branch plays a central role in delivering key procurement governance functions, including providing secretariat support to the Government Procurement Board, administering the Goods and Services Procurement Accreditation Program, and delivering ongoing assurance activities to strengthen compliance, performance and transparency. In addition, the team fosters engagement across the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) through initiatives such as the Procurement Community of Practice.
These roles and teams focus on uplifting procurement capability across the ACT Government. These roles offer a unique opportunity to influence how procurement policy is translated into practice, shape capability uplift across the ACTPS, and strengthen governance and assurance outcomes that deliver value for the community.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience (more than five years) in fields such as public policy, procurement, law or communications is highly desirable.
Note: There are two temporary SOG B positions. One position is available for 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months and/or permanency. And the second position is available for eight weeks with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
