About the Role
The Digital & Information Services Branch delivers agile, innovative technology solutions that enable Council to provide high-quality, sustainable services to the community. With a strong focus on transformation and performance, the team plays a critical role in driving digital uplift, supporting business operations, and positioning the Sunshine Coast as a leader in smart, connected service delivery.
As a Technical Specialist, you will take ownership of Council’s enterprise mobility and endpoint environment, ensuring secure, efficient and modern device management across a large and complex organisation. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll contribute to major initiatives, provide expert technical support, and drive continuous improvement in mobility solutions that support thousands of users
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support enterprise mobile device infrastructure and environments
- Deliver application deployment, patching and updates via Intune & SCCM
- Maintain device security, policies and compliance across mobility platforms
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, reporting and technical guidance.
About you
You’re an experienced endpoint specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM, comfortable managing complex enterprise environments and delivering modern device management solutions.
You bring deep knowledge of End User Compute, including SOE builds, application packaging, patching and deployment, with a strong focus on performance, reliability and user experience.
You’re a natural problem solver, able to analyse issues, identify risks, and implement effective solutions across mobility platforms and supporting technologies.
You’re also a strong communicator and collaborator, confident working with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to deliver outcomes and contribute to strategic technology initiatives
