About the Role
As our Landscape Construction Estimator, you will prepare accurate, competitive, and well-structured quotes for a variety of residential and commercial landscaping projects. Working closely with management, suppliers, and clients, you’ll play a key part in shaping the quality and success of every project we deliver.
This role suits someone who enjoys combining technical skill with creativity while working in a professional, fast-paced, and friendly office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes for landscape construction projects
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications
- Complete material take-offs and source competitive supplier pricing
- Liaise with builders, clients, and contractors to clarify project details
- Prepare tender submissions, proposals, and cost breakdowns
- Maintain up-to-date pricing databases and estimation tools
- Identify potential risks, variations, and cost-saving options
- Support project handovers with clear documentation and budgeting
- Ensure all quotes meet deadlines and company standards
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings strong industry knowledge, accuracy, and a proactive mindset.
You will ideally have:
- Experience as a landscape or construction estimator
- Solid understanding of landscaping materials, construction processes, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and site information
- Confidence using estimating software and spreadsheets
- Strong communication, organisation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and within a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a thriving company culture
